Bare with me. This post is going to be all over the place. I have many little thoughts in my head I wanted to get down PLUS I feel as if I was run over. If I start to not make sense, just smile and nod.
First, I was wondering how you read your blogs. Do you have them bookmarked and just go to the page sporadically? Do you use Google Reader? What about Blog Lovin? I basically do all three. I love Google Reader and Blog Lovin because it shows when you post new blogs. I like Blog Lovin a little more because I can organize the blogs that I read better but not everyone is on there or Blog Lovin can't find a blog.
Second, I was absolutely disgusted when I was reading a friend's blog today. She posted something about her beliefs and several of her followers commented how wrong she was and they were no longer following her and someone even called her stupid. I hurt for her. She said she wasn't effected but how could you not when you get attacked on your own personal space?
Usually, if you look at someone's blog you can tell a lot about them. (i.e. how my son is my only friend-just kidding...but he is my favorite subject) If you look at hers you could say she has a very firm belief in her faith. So why would you attack her when she writes what she feels? I would like to think of the blogging community where we support, encourage, and uplift each other. I post something you don't like? Unfollow me.
Give me your opinion in a nonthreatening or demeaning way. I love to debate and you may actually open my eyes to a new idea but I would never be able to get passed the way you came at me with your opinion if you did it negatively. How do you expect me to respect your opinion if you don't respect mine? And trust me, I am far from perfect. (proof: my christmas decorations have been packed up in the hall waiting to be put in the attic for, ooooh, about ten days now. Also, I am sure that my ceiling fans have a dust colony on them. And a couple of times my kid ate candy for breakfast.) But I am a firm believer in treating people with the respect you want to get.
And finally I just wanted to close this post with saying how much I really really like Sally Hansen's Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips....a lot! I used to get my nails done every two weeks but DANG! it's expensive and my nails grow so fast I honestly needed it every week. But now for only about $6 (I get mine from Target) you can have any style or color for about two weeks. Sometimes it will last longer but I want to change the color. And it's not like painting them - my right hand actually looks like someone over the age of two painted them.
Now I am going to medicate myself and hopefully sleep until noon tomorrow (yeah right! A girl can dream).
